The 4th Global Digital Trade Expo in Hangzhou — capital of East China's Zhejiang province — will debut a digital healthcare pavilion from Sept 25 to 29, offering visitors a glimpse into what tomorrow's hospitals will look like.

The pavilion features exoskeleton robots, AI-assisted diagnosis and smart eldercare — all designed to be experiential, trade-ready and replicable.

Highlights include the latest generation of flexible exoskeletons, capable of brain-controlled rehabilitation with a delay of less than 200 milliseconds, as well as surgical robots with 0.1 millimeters of precision and a fully automated cell experiment pipeline that streamlines "sample in, report out" research.

For everyday healthcare, AI assistants can translate complex medical reports into plain language in just 3 seconds, already serving over 500 hospitals nationwide.

An AI for Traditional Chinese Medicine stall will offer tongue-scan and pulse-diagnosis reports in 30 seconds, blending tradition with technology. Smart eldercare devices — from companion robots to bathing assistants — will show how AI can bring warmth as well as efficiency.

The pavilion is set to bring together global giants such as Medtronic, an American-Irish medical device company, alongside Zhejiang local innovators — creating a full ecosystem of future-ready healthcare.

Visitors can also follow immersive routes to experience AI diagnosis and remote surgery, while 10 high-level forums will feature academicians and industry leaders discussing the next frontiers of digital medicine.
