50-day countdown! Hangzhou gears up for 4th GDTE

August 6 marks the 50-day countdown to the fourth Global Digital Trade Expo (GDTE). At present, the preparations enter the sprint stage. As the national-level and global professional exhibition, this year's event will feature splendid highlights.

This preparations achieves remarkable results in investment and exhibition promotion. The number of exhibitors is up to 1,614, exceeding that of last year. There are more than 40,000 professional merchants, including over 10,000 international merchants.

In addition to the international e-commerce platforms organized in the Silk Road E-commerce Zone, top e-commerce enterprises, like Zoom, Facebook and Aramex, will participate in the event for the first time.

The event removes China Pavilion and Zhejiang Pavilion. The core exhibition area is for leading and emerging digital trade enterprises to present cutting-edge technologies, products and scenarios, such as generative AI and multimodal sensory interaction.

Besides previous highlights including "Silk Road E-commerce Day"and "African Digital Trade Day", the event sets up "Digital Trade Venture Capital Day"to select outstanding sci-tech innovation projects and connect them to global capital. It will also hold "BRICS Special Economic Zone Cooperation Week".
