On February 28, Hangzhou held the Third Global Digital Trade Expo (GDTE) Promotion Conference in Boston. More than 50 representatives from the Commercial Office of the Consulate General of the People’s Republic of China in New York, Boston Municipal Government, Hangzhou Residents Association of North America, enterprises, colleges, and universities attended the conference.

The Third Global Digital Trade Expo (GDTE) will be launched at Hangzhou Grand Convention and Exhibition Center on September 25-29, composed of "conferences", "exhibitions", "industrial interaction activities", and a "digital trade online" platform, with an exhibition area of about 150,000 square meters.

In 1982, Hangzhou and Boston became sister cities. Over 40 years later, digital trade will boost cooperation between two cities in fields, such as digital economy, finance, and convention & exhibition.
