On November 23, the Second Global Digital Trade Expo (GDTE) kicked off in Hangzhou. It gathers more than 800 digital trade enterprises all over the world. Over 20% of them are overseas enterprises.
As the guest countries of honor, Finland and the Republic of South Africa assign the large-scale participating teams. 13 participating enterprises from the Republic of South Africa look forward to enhancing cooperation with China in digital trade.
Finland delegation presents cutting-edge technologies and achievements in Industrial Internet of Things, 5G and other fields. A relevant representative said, “it is the first time for Finland to attend GDTE. We will lead 15 enterprises to explore cooperation opportunities with 17 Chinese enterprises in smart city, new retail, etc.”
Mercado Libre, the Latin American e-commerce giant, will launch 13 exchange activities at GDTE, hoping to get access to more high-quality brands of China through GDTE.
Hangzhou has signed a memorandum of cooperation with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa of Pakistan. Both parties will carry out cooperative exploration in talent cultivation, and infrastructure construction. The representative from Pakistan expressed their hope to learn from China’s experience in the field of e-commerce.
