On November 23, the Second Global Digital Trade Expo (GDTE) kicked off in Hangzhou, displaying the integration of new technologies, new products, new services, and new scenarios in digital trade.
Chinese President Xi Jinping once invited global participation in this event in his written speech at Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation CEO Summit, and believed that GDTE would expand China's opening up and create more development opportunities and benefits for other countries.
Drawing inspiration from the ancient Silk Road, China holds the Global Digital Trade Expo every year, with an eye on enhancing connectivity, which will inject new impetus into global economic growth, and create a new platform for international economic cooperation.
This high-level event promotes the entry of high-quality goods, technologies, and services from all over the world into Chinese market, and builds a platform conducive to free flow of global resources.
With the help of digital technology, global trade will rapidly expand cooperation fields and enhance efficiency. It will stimulate new demands and lead new trends in various sectors such as education, healthcare, urban development, automobiles, human-computer interaction.
