The 2nd Global Digital Trade Expo (GDTE) will be held from Nov 23 to 27, 2023 at Hangzhou International Expo Center in Hangzhou, east China's Zhejiang province.

The first international and professional expo in China focusing on digital trade, the GDTE aims to showcase new standards, ecosystems, technologies, products, and trends in the realm of global digital trade, and it also serves as a high-level national platform for the digital industry to boost global digital trade, according to the organizer of the event.

In 2022, China's digital service exports and imports totaled $372.7 billion, up 3.4 percent year-on-year, ranking fifth globally. Additionally, China has established bilateral e-commerce cooperation mechanisms with about 30 countries.

The first GDTE was successfully held in Hangzhou from Dec 11 to 14, 2022. Over 800 major businesses in the digital trade sector participated in the expo, resulting in some 150 billion yuan ($20.53 billion) in trade and investment.
