At Zhejiang Press Conference of the 5th China International Import Expo held on November 6, Hangzhou invited the worldwide participation in the First Global Digital Trade Expo (GDTE) to be held in December. As the only national-level digital trade-themed global specialized expo approved by the CPC Central Committee and State Council in China, GDTE is a high-level exposition for displaying the achievements in digital economy and digital trade development and is an important international platform for mutual benefits and win-win cooperation.
GDTE features five highlights. The first one is to focus on assembling high-end international organizations, political VIPs and enterprises to expand the friend circle of digital trade; the second one is to center on five major systems, namely digital trade industry, platform, ecology, institution and regulation, to launch digital economic trade forums and meetings and set the trend for the industry; the third one is to assemble world famous enterprises to display digital cultural tourism, automatic driving by vehicle robot and other cutting-edge technologies; the fourth one is to rely on the exposition to attract and cooperate with outstanding enterprises and promote investments; the fifth one is to innovatively combine real and digital exhibition modes to create online digital trade platform.
At the press conference, Pan Wei, the deputy secretary general of Hangzhou People’s Government, elaborated the DT award appraisal on GDTE and the impact of GDTE on Hangzhou’s development upon inquiry by media to make more people know about GDTE.
